Tech giants Nvidia and Google have joined hands and launched a new cloud gaming option exclusively for Chromebooks, named GeForce Now Fast Pass, allowing Chromebook users to play over 2,000 games from their existing PC game libraries without ads.

How to get GeForce Now on Chromebook for free

The tech titans have confirmed that anyone purchasing a new Chromebook will receive a complimentary one-year GeForce Now Fast Pass membership for free.

Fast Pass works the same way as GeForce Now's free tier, as it enables users to stream titles from Steam, Epic Games, and Xbox libraries.

This ultimate Chromebook gaming enhances user experience by eliminating ads and allowing players to bypass the long waiting queues often faced by free-plan users, which can exceed two minutes.

It should be noted that there is also a set of limitations to the Fast Pass plan, wherein members can enjoy up to 10 hours of cloud gaming per month. They also have the option to carry up to five unused hours into the next month.

For those with a knack for GeForce Now gaming with higher performance, Nvidia offers standard paid subscriptions starting at $9.99 per month, alongside benefits like faster frame rates, higher resolutions, RTX ray tracing, and access to additional "Install-to-Play" games. Unfortunately, these premium top-ups are not included in the Fast Pass plan.

GeForce Fast Pass price

While the huge assortment of GeForce Now Fast Pass seems immensely flashy, the standalone price for Fast Pass after the free year has not been announced yet.
