Transferring all the data from your current device to a new device is often time-consuming. However, with the Pixel 9 series launch, Google has made it easier to transfer data for users of the new Google Pixel 9, Google Pixel 9 Pro, and Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold devices.
The Alphabet-owned company recently unveiled the Pixel 9 series at the annual Made by Google event on August 13 with several upgrades and innovative features.
Previously, the Pixel phones would ask users to transfer data during the initial setup, and if declined then it didn’t show the option again unless the user has reset the phone.

The tech giant has finally upgraded the Pixel 9 series with a new option in the Settings menu called "Back up or copy data" which allows users to bring data from another device.
Users can now copy their photos, contacts, and messages from an old device without losing any recent data as the copied data will be merged with the data on the new device.
It appears that Pixel 9 series won’t be the first Android flagship to introduce this feature as Samsung’s Smart Switch is a similar feature to it.
However, it's a feature that Google needed to make switching to its new Pixel series simpler and more streamlined for users.
Google has been working to make its smartphones a reliable alternative to the other major competitors in the market, such as Samsung, Apple, and more.
