
Google’s Pixel 9 series is releasing this August, an earlier than usual schedule, and being preceded by a string of leaks surrounding its potential release as well as the key specs it will pack.
Provided that, a new hands-on leak shows off the Pixel 9 Pro XL with its new Samsung modem.
Another such leak in April revealed the device’s bootloader, packing in 128GB of storage and an upgraded 16GB of RAM, before this, no Pixel phone had exceeded 12GB of memory.
Moreover, reports claim that the device will sport a Samsung Modem, the Exynos 5400, which Samsung unveiled in the same month.

Another leak, this time posted on XDA forums, shows an early-stage Pixel 9 Pro XL with 16GB RAM and 128GB storage. Google is for sure considering bigger storage options for all its devices, this’s at least what the leaks imply.
Samsung says that the Exynos 5400 is based on the latest 3GPP release 17 standards with a maximum data throughput of 14.9Gbps. Google is expected to use its satellite support and the same modem is expected to feature through the entire Pixel 9 series.
Google is all set to release the Pixel 9 series on August 13th, official pictures were revealed this past week.
