The Google Pixel 9 series is soon to be released in August at Google’s hardware event. But, recently a colossal leak has just emerged ahead of launch within a few weeks.

Among all the rumours, the biggest one suggests that the Alphabet-owned company is expected to remove the USB-A-C adapter in the Pixel 9 series.

Usually, all the latest devices utilise USB-C. This adapter has now become insignificant because time has evolved now. If the leak turns out to be true then, it’s surely a great move to mitigate e-waste along with the admission from Google that USB-C is extensively used.

However, it’s just a leak and is yet to be confirmed by the company itself before its potential launch. It’s just a single slide which is specified for the Pixel 9 Pro XL

There are still some chances that the adapter is still available in the box for the other models of the Pixel 9 series.

Moreover, the essentials available in the box vary over the market. For instance, international market boxes may consist of different essentials in contrast to the local markets.

But, all these details would be uncovered on the launch day at Google’s event which has been scheduled to be held on August 13 at 10 AM PT, in Mountain View, CA.
