Google has updated its artificial intelligence (AI) platform, Gemini, as its home screen received a redesigned look making it easier on Android.

Earlier, the text box at the bottom fully showed how you can “Type, talk, or share a photo to Gemini Advanced.” A pill had buttons for voice and camera input, while the plus button for the upload menu was at the left and Gemini Live was at the opposite corner.

Currently, it has been squished down, with the prompt shortened and existing on the same line as the four buttons, like when you’re in a conversation. Moreover, it’s more relatable to the Gemini user interface (UI) on the web.

Paired with how the rest of the app now just says “Hello, [name]” and the Chats & Gems history in the top-left corner, Gemini is adapting to a minimalist view that’s not too different from the iconic Google Search homepage.

However, if you are unable to see this home screen redesign, force stop the Gemini app (Google) and relaunch.
