Google has begun rolling out the February 2025 update for Pixel devices, bringing various bug fixes, security patches, and other improvements.

The February 2025 update is available for the Google Pixel 9 series and several older models running on Android 15. 

Google Pixel update for February 2025

Google’s February 2025 update for Pixel devices features the build number AP4A.250205.002 for global models. 

However, carrier-specific versions for T-Mobile, Telstra, and EMEA will have additional identifiers C1, B2, and A1, respectively.

According to Google’s support page, the recent update addresses several issues, including a problem with Android Auto's audio output on devices from the Pixel 6 to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

On top of all the aforementioned perks, the latest Pixel update also resolved a bug that occasionally prevented connections with certain Bluetooth devices or accessories, exclusive to the Pixel 9 series.

The update also included a security patch for a critical vulnerability and exposure (CVE) identified as CVE-2024-53842.

Google Pixel devices compatible with February 2025 update

The February 2025 update is available on the following devices.

    • Pixel 8 series
    • Pixel Tablet
    • Pixel Fold
    • Pixel 7 series
    • Pixel 6 series

    The update has begun rolling out with a file size of approximately 15.48MB on the Google Pixel 9.
