Apple's forthcoming iPhone 16 Pro models are rumoured to get certain exclusive updates, adding bigger screens than their non-Pro counterparts and a new 48MP ultrawide camera. However, the users expecting to save money have plenty to be excited about the regular iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.

However, there was an Apple silicon split when it approached the iPhone 15 (A16 Bionic) and iPhone 15 Pro (A17 Pro) earlier. It seems that all four new iPhone 16 models are set to be featured by Apple’s A18 chipset, while the Cupertino-based tech giant is expected to hold an A18 Pro variant for the iPhone 16 Pro series.

However, the processors appear to be similar across the board. The code in Apple’s backend displays that the devices are expected to have the same A-series chip.

Apple Intelligence

Users can experience the capabilities of Apple intelligence through using the iPhone 16 Pro series that offers more advanced features as compared to the iPhone 15 series.

Additionally, the iPhone 16 should be capable of tapping into Genmoji to generate users’ emojis on the fly, along with Image Playground for AI-generated pictures that users can share.

Moreover, Apple Intelligence perks involve a Clean Up tool for removing undesirable stuff from users' images, automatic transcriptions in voice notes and AI Rewriting tools.

The iPhone 16 design is expected to have some noticeable changes compared to the iPhone 15. Firstly, borrowing the Action button from the iPhone 15 Pro series, allows users to have different shortcuts with the touch of the button. It will release users' favourite apps and set timers to translate between various languages.

The iPhone 16 is purported to receive a new capture button, making it simpler to release straight into the camera for shooting pictures and recording videos.

Wi-Fi 7

All the new iPhones are hinted at to house new Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, which ensures speeds up four times faster than Wi-Fi 6 along with less latency. The best Wi-Fi 7 routers have more ability to connect multiple devices at the same time without experiencing traffic issues, users can easily connect their devices and gadgets without worrying about network traffic.

Spatial-video ready

The iPhone 16 is expected to feature a vertical camera orientation, which would be able to allow a regular iPhone to capture 3D spatial video. The users can view this video on compatible headsets like the Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3.

However, if the users haven't seen spatial video before, it makes users feel like they were there when the moment was happening.
