Honda has launched its locally assembled HR-V e: HEV (hybrid) variant in Pakistan as commuters can now easily book their hybrid SUV.
The company revealed that the HR-V e: HEV model represents Honda’s first-ever locally assembled hybrid vehicle in Pakistan. Toyota, Haval, and MG have already introduced locally assembled hybrid vehicles in the Pakistani market like Corolla Cross HEV, Jolion HEV, and HS PHEV.
Honda HR-V e: HEV price in Pakistan
The price of HR-V e: HEV is Rs8,999,000 ex-factory in Pakistan, as with this price tag, the HR-V hybrid directly competes with the base Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid variant, as both vehicles carry the same price.
Another competitor for this car is the Haval Jolion HEV, priced at Rs9,295,000, which is just Rs296,000 more expensive than the HR-V hybrid.
Honda is entering a competitive segment where pricing is already closely matched. Local assembly might allow Honda to manage costs effectively, resulting in benefits such as better availability of spare parts, reliable after-sales support, and providing consumers with an additional, brand-new hybrid option in the local market.
According to the company, the test drives for the Honda HR-V e: HEV hybrid variant officially began today, offering consumers their first opportunity to experience the new model directly before its formal launch.
The HR-V hybrid uses Honda’s latest e: HEV system, which includes a two-motor setup built to give better fuel economy, lower pollution, and a more comfortable drive.
