The tournament had two types of teams: experienced squads and rising stars. Established squads like Demons Pride and Raptr Legacy showed skill, composure and control, while rising squads like Team Tez brought a new style and ideas.
"We came in the top 2 in the Free Fire World Series Pakistan Grand Finals, and we are very proud. It feels amazing to see our hard work pay off," Demons Pride team player Fahad told Gadinsider.
The event was buzzing with energy; parents and fans were very excited. "Hotshot deserved to win because they worked really hard for it. I was mostly supporting Team Vanguard, but Hotshot was my second-best team. So I'm super happy that they won. The event went well. It really shows that gaming has a bright future in Pakistan," a person from the crowed said while speaking with Gadinsider.
Others also expressed hope for more such tournaments in the future. "More events like this should be held in Pakistan so our local gamers can also compete in international tournaments," said Free Fire team Total Winner Esports player Samiullah.
"We hope more events like this keep happening in Pakistan. I hope everyone, including the government, continues to support esports so we can see the gaming industry continue to grow and get the recognition it deserves," added Free Fire content creator Adil Rehman.

Powered by Jazz GameNow, the event showcased many possibilities for esports in Pakistan. As Free Fire remains on the world's top downloaded mobile games list, tournaments like FFWS Pakistan show that local players are just as competitive as international gamers.
Speaking with Gadinsider, Jazz Head of Gaming Arsalan Qamar, said: “As Jazz is the Pakistan’s largest digital operator, but with the telecom service, the company also focuses on the growth of the esports industry. Esports is exponentially growing in Pakistan and becoming widely popular among youth. Jazz is implementing initiatives like this, through its GameNow brand, to inspire and motivate young gamers."
"Last year we hosted a similar event with Free Fire where the winning team went to represent Pakistan in Saudi Arabia as part of the Jazz GameNow squad," Qamar said, adding: "Through such initiatives, Jazz aims to support esports players furthermore.
"We want youth who are playing esports in Pakistan to not only earn recognition globally, but be able to access opportunities and earn revenue. Partnerships like these between Jazz and Garena Free Fire are a great step forward to excite and motivate young players to compete internationally and provide a better direction for esports in Pakistan."
