Huawei on Thursday launched its latest smartphone, the Mate 70 Air, as a sleek new addition to its flagship lineup that challenges Apple’s iPhone Air.
The company said that the Mate 70 Air stands out for its ultra-slim design, powerful features and battery, all packed into a lightweight frame.

The Huawei Mate 70 Air features a frame of 6.6mm and weighs only 208g, making it one of the thinnest but most robust phones available in the market. It is equipped with a 7-inch AMOLED display that provides a resolution of 2760 × 1320 and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Offering an ultra-slim frame, the smartphone comes with an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. It is available in three different colours: Obsidian Black, Feathered White, and Gold and Silver Brocade.
The Mate 70 Air is also integrated with Huawei’s Kirin 9020 series processors. The version used with the 12GB RAM version is the Kirin 9020A version, while the version paired with the 16GB RAM is the Kirin 9020B.
In addition to these features, the smartphone comes with 256GB and 512GB storages, respectively. The Mate 70 Air runs HarmonyOS 5.1, which increases its fast artificial intelligence (AI) performance and expands smart connectivity.

Huawei Mate 70 Air is priced around $590 (approx. Rs166,781) for the 12GB/256GB model and go up to $730 (approx. Rs206,356) for the 16GB/512GB variant.
