Infinix has finally launched a new variant of the Infinix Hot 60i in Pakistan, upgrading the RAM to 8GB and storage to 256GB. The budget phone was only available with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage previously.
Core specs remain the same, but the new variant targets a higher price tier, pushing the Hot 60i further into the competitive affordable-phone segment.
Infinix Hot 60i specification
The Hot 60i stays focused on strong battery performance, now one of the largest selling points for the device. The phone packs a 5160mAh battery with support for quicker 45W charging, up from the older 18W standard on previous models.
The device also carries an IP64 rating that will provide basic protection against dust and splashes, a rare addition in the entry-level category.
For display, the Infinix Hot 60i boasts a 6.7-inch IPS screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The resolution remains stuck on 720p, but the smooth scrolling helps for everyday users.
An 8MP selfie camera is provided inside a punch-hole cutout, while the screen brightness reaches a peak value of 700 nits, rendering it good for indoors yet average for outdoors, especially in harsh sunlight conditions.
On the back, the phone comes with a triple camera setup, but only two lenses do anything. A primary 50MP camera does support autofocus, the secondary 2MP lens aids in portraits, and the third is cosmetic to fit the design language.
The camera and charging, though improved, still remain on the older Helio G81 Ultra chipset.
The upgrade to 8GB RAM does help in multitasking for sure, allowing seamless transitions between apps. The integration of NFC, an IR blaster, a dedicated AI key, and GyroPro navigation are many welcome additions, not typically expected at this price point.
Infinix Hot 60i price
The new Infinix Hot 60i 8GB/256GB price in Pakistan is Rs40,999, now available at retail outlets nationwide.
