Instagram has introduced a new "2024 collage feature" allowing users to easily curate and share the most memorable moments from the ongoing year set to bid adieu in a few days.
This update is part of Instagram's ongoing efforts to enhance user experience. Recently, the platform introduced "trial reels," allowing creators to experiment with new content and engage with non-followers.
2024 collage feature on Instagram
The innovative collage feature is accessible from the Instagram story interface, allowing users to create a personalised collage. Users can also select and resize images to create their collages.
The 2024 collage feature also includes captions such as "How 2024 Started" and "How 2024 Ended." Once completed, users can also share the collages on their Instagram stories with followers.
The collage feature on Instagram will be available starting from the first week of January.
The Meta-owned platform also introduced New Year-end themed fonts and templates for its "Add Yours" feature in stories. The new templates let users share their collages and also invite others.
Moreover, several other features to celebrate the New Year, countdown text effects, holiday themes for direct messages (DMs), and secret phrases that trigger special effects in DMs and Notes are also part of the latest Instagram update.
