WhatsApp Beta introduces shortcut button for faster video message replies

WhatsApp, the leading encrypted messaging app with around 2.78 billion users, has introduced a new shortcut button in its beta version for the Android users.

However, through this new feature, the users can reply to instant video messages faster and easier. It aims to enhance the functionality of app and its user experience.

New shortcut button

The latest update is right now available in WhatsApp beta for Android (2.24.14.5), it adds a shortcut button next to video messages. This button allows the users to quickly reply to a video message without opening the message menu or using usual gestures.

The feature is currently available to some beta testers and is expected to roll out to all beta users soon.
