It's been a while since the upcoming Apple event was propelled to the limelight thanks to the upcoming, latest iPhone series, the iPhone 16 series.

As countless rumours and claims have been made pertaining to its release, the latest report from a credible source has spilt the beans.

iPhone 16 release date

Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg correspondent with a track record of extensive and accurate coverage of the landscape of technology, divulged in his weekly Power On newsletter that the iPhone 16 series will be launched alongside the latest iteration of Apple Watch and AirPods.

The most likely moment to observe all of these disclosures is Apple's upcoming event slated to take place on September 10, with the iPhone 16 purportedly set to go on sale on September 20.

iPhone 16 features upgrades

The upcoming iPhone 16 series is said to offer four models, including the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The Pro models of the iPhone 16 series are expected to debut with larger displays compared to the iPhone 15 series, with the iPhone 16 Pro likely to come with a 6.3-inch screen, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max arriving with a 6.9-inch display.

In addition to it, the Pro segment of the iPhone 16 series is also expected to receive notable camera upgrades and faster charging capabilities.
