Apple has a history of introducing radical design changes, and it looks like the new iPhone 17 Air is no different. Based on leaked photos being spread online, the new iPhone may just be the thinnest smartphone from the company yet, potentially measuring as thin as 5.4mm.

The iPhone 17 Air is included in the iPhone 17 series, which promises to introduce a new look and innovative features in 2025.

What to expect from iPhone 17 Air new leaks?

According to the rumours, one of the most significant changes is in the camera section. Rather than the traditional square island at the back, Apple is said to be employing a camera bar across the top of the phone.

However, such a design is to be anticipated on both iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max variations, yet the iPhone 17 Air features a lone lens on a thin camera tray. A side-by-side photo comparing it with a 7.8mm iPhone 16e illustrates how thin such a new model could be.

Most fans like the thin form factor but fear it may have an impact on battery life. Some people feel that making the phone this thin will mean that the battery is smaller, and the usage time will be shorter.

Additionally, rumours have surfaced that the phone may not feature a bottom speaker to make space, but there is no official word yet.

Reportedly, the iPhone 17 Air was said to have a 6.6-inch display, but these rumors were dismissed based on low credibility. The US possible price was said to be $899, but considering that tariffs keep changing, the actual price may be higher.
