The Kia EV5 was unveiled on Friday (October 25) at the highly-anticipated Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) in Lahore. The launch of this mid-size electric SUV marks Kia Pakistan’s entry into the country’s electric vehicle market, offering an appealing option for Pakistani buyers looking to transition to electric vehicles.
Kia EV5 models
The newly launched Kia EV5 is available in two variants: the Kia EV5 Air and Kia EV5 Earth, each featuring innovative technology, bold design, and eco-friendly features that reflect Kia’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Kia EV5 Air: This short-range, front-motor vehicle with two-wheel drive (2WD) prioritises urban efficiency, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds.
Kia EV5 Earth: The dual-motor, all-wheel drive (AWD) EV5 Earth model provides extended range and greater power, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.
Both variants come with a 50 kW fast charger, allowing the EV5 Air to reach 80% charge in 57 minutes and the EV5 Earth in 72 minutes.
Kia EV5 safety features
Both models of the Kia EV5 include safety features such as an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), and Rear View Monitor (RVM).
However, advanced driving assist features like blind view mirrors, parking collision assist, and fingerprint authentication are exclusive to the EV5 Earth model.
Kia EV5 price in Pakistan
Both Kia EV5 models are now open for booking. The EV5 Air model is priced at Rs18,500,000, while the Kia EV5 Earth is available for Rs23,500,000.
