Kia is set to launch a new lineup of electric and hybrid vehicles in 2026, aiming to strengthen its position in global markets.
The company plans to launch five new or refreshed flagship models, proving its ambitions in sustainable mobility and next-gen automotive innovation.
Among the highly anticipated vehicles is the redesigned Kia Seltos, which will launch with a hybrid powertrain for the first time in the international market. The Seltos — already well-known in Asia and Europe — will now combine fuel efficiency with electric features for a smooth driving experience.
The Kia Telluride is also in the lineup of getting advancements, scheduled to launch as the company's first-ever hybrid variant. This step marks a major milestone for Kia, as it transitions more of its large, high-performance vehicles toward electrified platforms.
Meanwhile, Kia is gearing up to launch its model, Kia EV2, in Europe as an entry-level electric car expected to be priced around €30,000 (approximately $35,000).
The EV2 targets mass commuters by offering a lower-cost EV alternative in one of the world's most competitive automotive markets .
It should be noted that Shehbaz Sharif-led government is making efforts to promote electric mobility, through reduced import customs duties, tax breaks, and incentives.
