Jetour X70 Plus, Dashing SUVs launched in Pakistan
Jetour Pakistan has launched its two new crossover SUVs, the Jetour Dashing, and the Jetour X70 Plus, at an event in Lahore.
The five-seater Jetour Dashing is a C-segment crossover SUV that features a 1.5TCI turbo engine, delivering 154 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque.
On the other hand, the seven-seater Jetour X70 Plus features a bold exterior, including a large chrome grille, LED headlights, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
The price of the newly launched Jetour X70 Plus in Pakistan is Rs8,495,000, while the Jetour Dashing is available for Rs8,295,000.
BYD Han L EV sedan unveiled
BYD has unveiled the Han L EV, a high-performance electric sedan with impressive speed and range. The vehicle comes in two versions, the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) model and the all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant.
Both versions are powered by an 83.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. The RWD model offers a CLTC-rated range of 701 km, while the AWD version delivers 601 km.
BYD plans to launch the Han L EV in China this year, with prices starting at CNY 300,000.
Huawei Voyah Dreamer Special Edition launched
Huawei officially launched the new Dreamer Special Edition featuring Huawei ADS 3.0.
This Special Edition measures 5315 x 1980 x 1820mm has a wheelbase of 3200mm, and appears in a bold as well as stylish Grey colour.
The model comes with two variants featuring PHEV and EV power.
The PHEV variants deliver 420kW power with a 100km/h acceleration in 5.9 seconds. On the other hand, the EV offers 320kW power with a CLTC range of 560km.
Honda S7 electric SUV to launch in China
The all-electric Honda S7 is set to launch in China to compete in the fast-growing EV market of China.
The Honda S7 is a five-seater SUV with a length of 4,750 mm, a width of 1,930 mm, and a height of 1,625 mm.
It is powered by an 89.8 kWh battery from CATL, offering a range of 620 km under China’s China Light-Duty Vehicle (CLTC) test cycle.
Notably, the pricing details will be revealed closer to the launch, but the S7 is anticipated to be priced at around CNY 200,000 ($27,500).
Xiaomi to launch YU7 electric SUV in 2025
Xiaomi is planning to launch the YU7 SUV by mid-2025. The YU7 aims to compete with leading electric SUVs, particularly the Tesla Model Y.
The Xiaomi YU7 is positioned as a mid-to-large SUV, featuring 4,999 mm length, 1,996 mm width, 1,600 mm height, and has a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.
According to experts, the Xiaomi YU7 will begin at approximately CNY 250,000, as an affordable competitor to Tesla and other premium EV brands.
