Indian electronic manufacturer Lava International Ltd. is expected to launch Lava Blaze Curve 5G, an addition to its Lava series, set to mark an uptick in the prominence and acclaim the series got with the earlier releases.

The name of the smartphone suggests that it will be the first handset from the company to be equipped with a curved screen. However, the company has not made any official statements regarding the launch of a new smartphone.

The company president, Sunil Raina (@reachraina), recently revealed a leak on X (previously known as Twitter). The tweet contained a set of unordered letters, which appeared to spell out Lava Blaze Curve 5G when rearranged, according to Gadgets360.

According to the limited information that has come out of some credible tipsters and the top company official, the Lava Blaze Curve 5G will the handset will sport a curved AMOLED display.

The leak also suggests that the handset will offer support for 5G connectivity. However, in terms of the cost, there’s no indication as to what will be the price of the device.

Comparison with Lava Blaze 2 5G

The so-far latest addition to the Blaze series, Lava Blaze 2 5G, is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the base configuration with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset and supports up to 6GB of RAM, the predecessor features a 6.56-inch LCD screen.

In the camera section, the Lava Blaze 2 5G comes with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 0.08-megapixel secondary camera. Additionally, it features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera dedicated to selfies and video calls.

The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 18W charging through a USB Type-C port.
