Marvel Rivals has launched its Season 6, named 'Night at the Museum', which is headlined by none other than the iconic merc with a mouth, Deadpool, who enters the title's playable roster as a Duelist, Vanguad, and Strategist.

The company said that Deadpool will soon be the Marvel Rival Season 6's first triple-role hero, with the ability to change roles depending on the player's choice.

What's new in Marvel Rival Season 6 update?

Marvel Rival Season 6 has added a new Convoy map, new balance changes, a big update to the Hero Proficiency system, and other major advancements to give players a better gameplay experience.

It is important to note that before the Marvel Rivals, the hero was spotted bouncing around Marvel Rivals’ character roster, going from the Vanguard role to the Strategist role seemingly at random.

Deadpool players can swap between all three in-game roles at the spawn point, with each role giving the triple-role hero a different kit.

  • As a Duelist, Deadpool can dish out lots of damage using his dual pistols and katanas.
  • As a Vanguard, Deadpool can stay on the team’s front lines with the help of a unicorn plushie that grants shields.
  • As a Strategist, Deadpool's pistols and swords damage enemies and heal teammates.

Deadpool also comes with RPG-like mechanics, which allow him to level up specific abilities over the course of the match simply by consulting a book during battle.

Marvel Rivals season 6 patch notes has also received a few new Team-Ups. First up is Parker Power-Up (Peni Parker–Spider-Man), which allows Spider-Man to throw a Web-Bomb from Peni. Mr. Pool's Interdimensional Toy Box (Deadpool–Jeff the Land Shark) allows Jeff to spit out one of Deadpool’s toys, creating an AoE sprinkler that heals allies and causes visual clutter for enemies.

The Hero Proficiency system has received an update, with increased caps for each hero and brand-new rewards to grind out, which include:

  • Units.
  • Dynamic Avatars.
  • More cosmetics.
