Ahead of the launch of the Pixel 9 series on August 14, the Google Pixel 8 series is going on a massive discount on Flipkart.
The Pixel 8, which initially hit the market at INR 75,000 is now down to INR 52,999 while the Pixel 8 Pro is up for grabs at INR 98,999, down from INR 106,000.
That’s not all, Pixel 8 users will be treated to a further INR 6,000 discount on ICICI bank credit and debit cards, which will pull down the price further to an even more amiable INR 58,000, a discount worth a total of INR 18,000.
The Pixel 8 Pro will also receive similar treatment, buyers holding ICICI bank credit and debit cards will get a discount of INR 10,000, besides the initial one of INR 8,000, the price, in this case, drops down to INR 88,999.

With the Pixel 9 series just around the corner, it sure is a difficult choice: whether to grab the discounted Pixel 8s or go for the latest and greatest Pixel 9s.
The Pixel 9 series will also be retailing on Flipkart, the preview page has the following details:
- Pixel 9s will feature curved edges and a flat frame, the camera will keep the floating island design instead of the visor look, and the new handsets are expected to come wrapped in an all-new ‘pink’ colour.
- In terms of pricing, going by the European price, Pixel 9 will come in two storage options that might launch at a starting price of €899 (approx INR 80,000). Google Pixel 9 Pro is likely to be launched at a starting €1,099 (approx INR 97,500).
