
Motorola, an American tech company, on Tuesday released its new smartphone with top-tier specs, Motorola Edge 50 Ultra in India. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and supports a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has been launched in India with the price value of INR 59,999 and the handset is offered with a 12GB RAM with 512GB storage space. Moreover, the device is available on the company’s website and Flipkart.
As part of a beginning offer, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra costs at a discounted price of INR 49,999, which is inclusive of an INR 5,000 instant bank discount on HDFC (Housing Development Finance Corporation) Bank and ICICI (Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India) Bank card purchases.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra runs on Android 14 along with the company's new Hello UI. It featured a 6.7-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus protection, sport for HDR10+ content, and up to 2500nits peak brightness.
Moreover, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM. For optics, a triple rear camera setup can be spotted, having a 50 MP primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture omnidirectional phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and optical image stabilisation (OIS). In addition, it features a 50 MP ultra-wide angle camera with a 122-degree field-of-view and f/2.0 aperture, along with a 64 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it has a 50 MP camera that can be used for video calls and capturing selfies.

Connectivity options on the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra involve 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board the handset include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, compass, ambient light and proximity sensors.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is featured with an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication, along with offers sport for a face unlocking feature. It comes with the company Moto Secure and ThinkShield security specs.
The smartphone houses a 4,500mAh battery supporting 125W TurboPower charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
Motorola confirmed that the device proposes up to 40 hours of battery life on a single charge. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra supports an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It measures 161.09x 72.38 x 8.59mm and weighs 197 grams.
