
Motorola, an American manufacturer, recently unveiled two outstanding foldable phones: the Motorola Razr 2024 and Razr Plus 2024. These flip phones offer a plethora of similar compelling features and an enhanced user experience. However, there are a few key differences to consider when choosing between them.

Price and availability
Starting with the price, the standard Motorola Razr is available for $699/£799, while the Razr Plus is available for $999/£999. Both Razr models will be available internationally from 10th July.

Design and display
Both Razr phones have a sharp look, with almost identical sizes and weights, and come in a stellar design. The main difference lies in the outer display, as they possess similar inner screens.
The standard Razr features a 3.6-inch outer screen similar to the Razr Plus 2023, with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a 90Hz static refresh rate. It is available in grey, sand, and orange colours.
The Razr Plus has a four-inch FHD outer screen, allowing the phone to operate without opening it, with a 165Hz refresh rate. It is available in blue, green, and Peach Fuzz colours.
Camera
Both Razr 2024 models support a 50 MP main camera and a 32 MP selfie camera. The standard model features a 13 MP ultra-wide camera, while the Razr Plus model includes a 50 MP 2X telephoto camera with a 4X in-sensor zoom mode.
Performance
The standard Razr 2024 model is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chip, while the Razr Plus model features a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, expected to offer enhanced performance. Both models come with 8GB/12GB RAM and a 256GB storage variant.
Charging
The Razr Plus model supports 45W wired charging and 5W reverse charging for powering accessories. The standard Razr offers 30W wired charging with no reverse charging option available.
