Motorola is about to make a major launch, and teasers have been indicating that they have a new premium smartphone that is coming on January 6, 2026.
Reportedly, Motorola's China subsidiary has teased the new X70 Air Pro, and Motorola's official social media account has confirmed the new launch globally.
The device, known as the X70 Air, is set to be released internationally as ‘Edge 70’. There has been an initial hint at the name of the first smartphone offering under Motorola's new Signature line, which could be called Edge 70 Ultra, but this has yet to be announced. This could indicate that the X70 Air Pro and Edge 70 Ultra could be identical phones.

Leaks suggest that this phone will come with Qualcomm’s SD 8 Gen 5 chipset, accompanied by 16GB of RAM. This device will feature a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K display and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
This will be accompanied by Android 16, according to rumours. This will provide users with the newest Android features right away.
