The National Database and Registration (Nadra) on Wednesday announced to facilitate overseas Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia's eastern province of Dhahran to avail its services.
Taking to Facebook, Nadra said that overseas Pakistanis in Dhahran can get services as the Nadra Mobile Registration Team — along with the Pakistani Embassy team — will visit the location from November 7 to November 8.
The team will be available at Tamimi New Camp in the eastern province of Dhahran from 8am to 3pm (Saudi timings). Overseas Pakistanis can easily avail multiple Nadra services, such as the issuance of new Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC), change or renewal, and other services.
Last week, the government announced a major facility for citizens to get their first CNIC for free within 15 days. If you have turned 18 years of age, then you are advised to visit your nearest Nadra centre — apply for CNIC — complete the process, and get your first CNIC without paying any fee.
As per law, after turning 18 years, a citizen becomes eligible to vote in general elections. The authority noted that the first CNIC will not be a smart card.
