In the latest development, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy has released new guidelines for Pakistani citizens seeking a UAE visa.

The updated instructions outline the required documents, application procedures, and special provisions for minors.

An embassy spokesperson noted that the visa processing fee is $69 (around Rs19,300) per person, and applications for visit, tourist, and family visas must be submitted online, while employment visas follow a separate process.

  • Bank statement: A six-month bank statement is required, showing a minimum balance of $5,000 (around Rs1.4 million) or equivalent.

It's worth mentioning that for children under five years, no visit to the visa centre is needed. However, a passport-size photo with a white background must be submitted.

  • UAE visa process for children aged six to 15: No need to bring a photo as it will be taken at the visa centre.

Moreover, applicants aged five years and older must complete the biometric verification at the visa centre before finalising their application.
