The recently launched, latest Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 series emerged as the trendsetter and an inspiration to the realm of foldable smartphones, featuring all ordinary smartphone users usually seek.

But as the saying goes there's always something which makes everything imperfect, this is what the next Samsung flagship is said to bring about.

While the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the older Galaxy Z Flip generations don't accompany any follies with them, all they can afford to do in folded position is allow users to call with the loudspeaker; however, the next Galaxy Z Flip lineup seems to be up to a workaround.

Citing a Korean-language Sisa Journal, Android Authority reported that Samsung Display and LG Display reportedly teamed up to develop OLED screens that release sound by vibrating the screen.

The report adds that the next Galaxy Z Flip series, most likely to be named the Galaxy Z Flip 7 series, and other foldable smartphones in future will feature this so-called piezoelectric speaker technology.

It is only because of the closely knit positioning of the earpiece and microphone that Galaxy Z Flip users are unable to attend calls by holding the phone to their ears when the device is folded. Even if one attempts to do hold the earpiece to ear, it surely blocks the microphone.

If the rumoured feature is anything to go by: turning the Galaxy Flip phone’s cover screen into a speaker, it will technically enable people to take calls with the phone in folded position without resorting to loudspeaker.
