Gaming events could always be fun for gaming enthusiasts, provided they have to be held by your favourite game makers. But this is not the case with Nintendo Direct July 2025 Partner Showcase, since it's a global sensation.
Nintendo Direct July 2025, the recently concluded event kicked off by Capcom, led to the debut of a plethora of games for the Switch 2 console.
The event started with a groundbreaking showcase of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, which is speculated to be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
The showcase also confirmed the upcoming arrival of Plants Vs. Zombies: Replanted for both the Switch and Switch 2 consoles. The horror-inflicting title is set for release on October 23, featuring HD graphics on the sidelines of local co-op and PvP modes.
Given the announcements made during the event, Switch 2 players better brace for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, as it will launch on both consoles on November 14, 2025. This fascinating title will allow players to relive iconic moments from the Dragon Ball series and create alternate timeline scenarios.
Other major announcements included Octopath Traveler 0, slated to arrive on Switch 2 in December, featuring the HD-2D aesthetic.
All of this is alongside the wide assortment of games releasing this year, including Madden NFL 26 (August), Star Wars: Outlaws (September), and Apex Legends (August), among various others.
