The Nintendo Switch 2 arrives with a powerful lineup of games. One of the most talked-about titles is Mario Kart World, a fresh take on the classic racing game that adds online multiplayer modes, global tracks, and new karts.

There are also enhanced versions of fan favourites like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, specially upgraded for the new console’s improved performance.

Retailers like Walmart, GameStop, Best Buy, and Target held launch events today (June 5), with some offering extra stock for walk-in customers.

If you missed the pre-order rush, don’t worry, several stores are still restocking. Walmart, Sam’s Club, and GameStop had early morning restocks, while Target will drop more online units on Saturday.

The Nintendo Switch 2 isn’t just about games. It introduces GameChat, a Discord-like feature that lets players talk to friends while gaming, and a redesigned Pro Controller that feels better in your hands.

In the UK, pre-orders were smoother, but retailers are currently sold out. More stock is expected soon.
