A set of high-quality images showcasing the design of the flagship smartphone has been released by OnePlus just days before its official introduction.
As per the officially announced renders, the date for the release of the OnePlus 12 has been rescheduled and is now set to be officially unveiled in China on December 5, departing from the initially decided date of its release.
Prominently featuring the flagship Hasselblad smartphone camera, the OnePlus 12 boasts a hole-punch display design and a triple camera setup at the back, housing a Sony LYTIA LYT808 primary rear camera sensor besides a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.
To turn towards the front, the recent renders highlight a punch-hole cutout on the display for the selfie camera, along with curved edges and slim bezels surrounding the screen. The back of the phone exhibits a circular camera module adorned with the Hasselblad logo at its centre.
The design of the OnePlus 12 closely resembles its predecessor, the OnePlus 11, which launched in China in January.
These officially released images shared by the brand confirm the leaked renders previously shared by the meticulous speculator Steve H. McFly (@OnLeaks) on X (formerly Twitter).
In a recent Weibo post (Chinese microblogging website), OnePlus revealed the official appearance of the handset, a day after hinting at Pale Green, Rock Black, and White colour options.
Set to be launched in the Chinese market on December 5, OnePlus is presently accepting pre-reservations for the phone through its official online store and JD.com. However, its global launch is expected in January.
The OnePlus 12 is set to feature a ProXDR display with 2K resolution and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
As per the official leaks, the device would be running on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 operating system, and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. In addition to that, the device will incorporate a new generation X-axis motor designed for gaming.
