After the successful launch of the OnePlus 12, it has been early days since its launch, and OnePlus may be gearing up for the launch of its newest addition, the OnePlus 13 if recent leaks are anything to go by.

While Oneplus has not officially confirmed this device, news has been circulating that it might bring significant changes in its designs for the display with a new feature. This new feature is called “micro quad-curved panel,” which would mark the end of the traditional screen, offering a 2K screen with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for additional security.

The smartphone is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and is rumoured to debut in October with an updated Oryan CPU.

According to Android Authority, OnePlus, along with OPPO, is mulling to launch this new display smartphone for their upcoming flagships. The feature “micro quad-curved panel” refers to the display screen with curves on all four sides extending to the top and bottom, ensuring the composition of a seamless, almost bezel-less look.

Although similar feature technologies were seen in other smartphone companies (Huawei and Xiaomi) a few years ago, The details regarding the camera that have been speculated are confirming the revision of the design, which offers a 1,440 x 3,168pxm resolution LTPO AMOLED display and is ready to offer an enhanced triple camera setup with a 50MP main camera, a telephoto sensor, and an ultra-wide lens.

The OnePlus 13 is expected to be launched later this year in China before becoming available in India. While details about the OnePlus 13 are still speculative, if the reports are accurate, it could be the first OnePlus phone to feature this unique design in the US market.

The launch of the OnePlus 13 is still some time away, the speculations suggest that along with the new design, the phone may offer the usual performance improvements expected from a flagship device.
