Oppo F29 Pro 5G has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, confirming its potential launch in the Indian market. In addition, the moniker has been confirmed through a Bluetooth SIG listing.
A tipster has listed the expected significant features of the purported device, indicating significant features. The F29 Pro 5G is likely to include several compelling specs, including a 50MP dual rear camera, a massive 6,000mAh battery, and more, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), a credible analyst has revealed that the Oppo F29 Pro 5G will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. The phone is claimed to support LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 onboard storage, promising efficient performance and faster data processing.
In addition, the upcoming handset is expected to run on Android 15-based ColorOS 15 out-of-the-box, offering a streamlined user experience. The device is likely to be powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support.
The report suggested that the Oppo F29 Pro 5G is likely to feature an enlarged 6.7-inch full-HD+ quad-curved AMOLED screen along with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering a smooth and immersive visual experience.
For optics, the upcoming handset is expected to feature a 50MP primary rear sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support alongside a 2MP secondary sensor and a 16MP selfie camera, making it a perfect fit for all photography enthusiasts.
It’s worth mentioning that the purported Oppo F29 Pro 5G is likely to support similar features as the Oppo A5 Pro 5G, which was launched in China in December 2024. The Oppo A5 Pro 5G is available for CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 23,300) for the 8GB + 256GB option. It consists of 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.
