Petrol and diesel prices are anticipated to rise by Rs3.15 per litre starting December 1, driven by recent fluctuations in global crude oil prices.

Earlier, the petrol prices remained unchanged at Rs248.38 per litre. However, the forthcoming increase in petrol and diesel prices marks a noticeable shift in the fuel pricing trend.

Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel is also likely to increase by Rs4 per litre. According to the sources, the final decision on these price changes will be made just before the next fortnight begins.

If implemented, the new petrol price is expected to be Rs251.53 per litre up from the current Rs248.38. Meanwhile, diesel is likely to reach Rs259.14 per litre, increasing from Rs255.14.

In addition to petrol and diesel, other fuels may also experience price hikes. However, no updates have been provided regarding the prices of kerosene and light diesel oil (LDO)

These anticipated fuel price adjustments will significantly impact consumers across Pakistan, as authorities strive to manage the effects of fluctuating international oil prices.
