Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has declared that it will temporarily halt its flights from Pakistan to Canada for the current month.
The airline has decided to enable the necessary maintenance on its Boeing 777 long-range aircraft, which are used for transatlantic flights and can fly for 17 hours straight.
A thorough three-week technical inspection and part replacement are part of the maintenance process, which is required every ten years.
Prior to the expected spike in passenger traffic in the upcoming month, the main goal of this maintenance is to guarantee the aircraft's total fitness and safety.
Expressing regret for the inconvenience, the PIA spokesperson emphasised that "safety of passengers and the complete fitness of the aircraft are the top priorities."
The airline is committed to offering a safe and dependable travel experience, as evidenced by its prioritisation of passenger safety and aircraft maintenance.
