For this initiative, new partnerships were signed between the Learning Hub in Gujranwala and City College in Multan to establish e-Rozgaar centres in mentioned cities.
PITB Director General (DG) of e-Governance, Sajid Latif, the Learning Hub in Gujranwala’s principal, Sana Ajmal, and City College Multan’s managing director Waheed Ahmad, signed the agreement. However, the PITB Director, of the Skills Development Wing, Ahmad Islam Syan, was also at the signing ceremony.
This enhanced programme expands beyond skill development, adapting to the evolving digital landscape. It will provide participants with the expertise to capitalise on online income streams and new financial opportunities.
“Our goal is to broaden the reach of digital literacy in Pakistan, providing structured and hands-on courses that empower students to explore online earning avenues, particularly in freelancing,” stated PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf while commenting on the vision behind the e-Rozgaar 2.0 initiative.
“This initiative addresses the growing demand for tech-savvy professionals in Pakistan,” he added.
