Alphabet-owned Google has integrated the artificial intelligence (AI) sparkle into the boot screen of the Pixel 9 series at the Made by Google 2024 event on August 13.
On the Pixel 8, you had the full Google logo animated into a G-themed with Material You’s Dynamic Colour.
The Pixel 9 boot sequence begins with a static four-colour G logo against the dark background that animates into the Gemini sparkle before flawlessly turning back into a G.

It's is “Powered by Android” with the new wordmark and new “Bot” head — as it’s officially known — displays at the bottom to close things out.
It’s the same animation displayed at the end of most Google videos and ads on various social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Meanwhile, the Pixel 9 series has been followed by “with Gemini” in different locations today.
