Poco, a Chinese smartphone company, on Thursday unveiled its new flagship device, Poco F6 5G, in India. The newest Poco F series phone features Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
It is the first phone in India to run on this 4nm octa-core processor. The device has an OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 50-megapixel dual back camera system. It has a 5,000mAh battery and capability for 90W wired fast charging. The Poco F6 5G's design and internals are identical to those of the Redmi Turbo 3, which is unique to China.
Poco F6 5G price in India, availability
The Poco F6 5G begins at INR 29,999 for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model. The 12GB RAM with 256GB and 12GB with 512GB variants cost INR 31,999 and INR 33,999, respectively.
Moreover, it will be available in Black and Titanium colours and will be sold on Flipkart beginning May 29. Customers may get the Poco F6 5G for INR 25,999 after applying bank incentives and exchange discounts. The 12GB with 256GB, 12GB with 512GB RAM, and storage models are available for INR 27,999 and INR 29,999.

Poco F6 5G specifications
The Poco F6 5G runs the Android 14-based HyperOS user interface. Poco promises three major Android upgrades and four years of security fixes for the device.
In addition, it has a 6.67-inch 1.5K (1,220x2,712 pixel) AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 446 ppi pixel density. The monitor is compatible with HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Widevine L1.
It has a peak brightness of 2,400 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is powered by an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and supports up to 12GB of LPPDDR5x memory.
The Poco F6 5G features a dual rear camera set headlined by a 50-megapixel 1/1.9-inch Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), electronic image stabilisation (EIS), and an aperture of f/1.59.
The camera configuration also features an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle sensor. The OV20B front camera is capable of taking selfies and video chats. Poco's Iceloop cooling technology is used to regulate the temperature of the new phone.
The Poco F6 5G supports up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS/AGPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, and a USB Type-C connection. The accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, IR blaster, and proximity sensor are all on board.
The handset has hybrid twin stereo speakers that sport Dolby Atmos and are Hi-Res certified. Moreover, it has an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating. It includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication and also supports face unlock.
The Poco F6 5G sports a 5,000mAh battery and supports 90W rapid charging. The company has included a 120W converter in the package. It measures 160x74.4x7.8mm and weighs 179 grams.
