Poco M7 5G spotted on Google Play Console, hints at imminent launch

The Poco M7 5G appeared on the Google Play Console database, indicating its imminent launch in the near future as the successor to the Poco M6 5G, which was launched in India in December 2023. Currently, the forthcoming device is under speculations, and several rumours top-notch specs, including Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, and more.

According to The Tech Outlook, the Poco M7 5G previously appeared on the Google Play Console Supported Devices List featuring a model number 24108PCE2I and the codename "flame." The handset has now reportedly been spotted on the Google Play Console database, further confirming its launch. 

The report further suggested that the Poco M7 5G is likely to be equipped with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, carrying a model number SM4450. The octa-core chipset consists of two ARM Cortex-A78 cores at 2.20GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 at 1.95GHz. The chipset is incorporated with Qualcomm's Adreno 613 GPU, which promises improved graphics performance.

The listing indicated that the forthcoming flagship device will be shipped with Android 14-based HyperOS skin on top. It is expected to support 4GB of RAM with 720 x 1,640 pixels resolution. 

Previously, the Poco M7 5G Indian version with model number 24108PCE2I appeared on Geekbench, hinting at strong performance benchmarks. It is important to note that the Poco M7 Pro 5G was released in India in December 2024.
