At the ceremony, CM Punjab outlined the importance of fostering a culture of academic research, noting that Pakistan has seen a decline in this area. She further stressed the need for modern education, citing China's efforts to teach AI to children as early as the fifth grade.

In addition, the chief minister revealed plans to increase laptop distribution from 30,000 this year to 50,000 next year, to provide 100,000 laptops to students scoring above 65% in public colleges and universities.

Moreover, scholarships will also be introduced for students in their third and fourth years of study.

To further support students, the provincial government will introduce loans of up to Rs30 million, enabling them to pursue higher education, part-time jobs, and business ventures.

Moreover, free land will be provided to help students launch startups and contribute to society.
