To complement digital marketing which has been booming for the past few years, tech giant Adobe on Tuesday announced that it is releasing artificial intelligence (AI) “agents” to boost brands' website content visibility.

Since we've long bid farewell to the conventional means of advertising and endorsements, brands, marketers and advertisers can make the most of Adobe's AI agents to tap their potential audiences on the web in a targeted manner.

The AI agents come as users are increasingly willing to interact with websites through chatbots as they do with AI tools like ChatGPT, said Amit Ahuja, senior vice president of Adobe’s experience cloud unit.

Although Adobe is widely popular for its consumer-centric offerings such as Photoshop, the tech titan is also acclaimed and famed for its suite of business-to-business products catering to online marketing.

To note, these business-to-business offerings accounted for nearly a quarter of Adobe's $21.5 billion sales in the fiscal year 2024.

Adobe's new AI agents assist brands, advertisers and marketers in reaching a wider audience, allowing them to target specific segments of society categorised by their online activity.

With such targeted marketing in sight, Adobe's AI agents help tailor content suited to a young audience if they reach a website through a TikTok ad, as well as an aged audience if they click on a result from search results.
