The Redmi A5 4G is all set to launch in Pakistan on April 15, 2025, and it aims to be a budget-friendly smartphone with a focus on display quality and long battery life. Xiaomi announced the launch through their official social media handles.

The Redmi A5 4G will have a low cost, which means it will be a suitable option for budget customers in Pakistan.

Redmi A5 4G specifications

Redmi A5 4G has a 6.88-inch IPS display with a 720p resolution. It has a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz and brightness of 1500 nits, so the display will appear bright even in sunlight. There is a tiny notch at the top of the display that accommodates an 8MP selfie camera, and the rear has a 32MP primary camera that can record 1080p videos. The design at the rear cam appears like an iPhone 16, but one of the sensing sensors does not work.

Moreover, the Redmi A5 employs a Unisoc T7250 processor, which is not highly capable but adequate for simple usage. It is available with up to 4GB RAM and operates on Android 15 Go Edition, which is a lean version of the standard Android to ensure that it operates well on low-end hardware.

Additionally, Xiaomi has also committed to providing two years of software updates, something new for its A series smartphones.

The phone's largest highlight is the 5200mAh battery, which can offer the phone's complete usage for a day. It is 18W supported, meaning it takes over two hours to get completely charged.
