
Regal Automobiles is set to manufacture Seres 3 electric crossover SUV locally in Pakistan, after securing a license recently.
This comes as a significant development for the country’s electric vehicle (EV) industry as Regal has partnered with Seres, an international EV manufacturer, to introduce new EV models to the market.

The certification was issued by the Engineering Development Board (EDB) on October 2 providing Regal Motors’ with in-house assembling and manufacturing capabilities to produce the Seres 3 electric car in Pakistan.
“We are thrilled to introduce Pakistan’s first locally assembled electric SUV, the Seres 3. This initiative represents a significant move toward sustainable transportation and offers an economical electric vehicle option for consumers,” stated Seres Pakistan managing director Muhammad Adeel Usman.
The production of Seres 3 EVs is expected to begin soon at Regal’s state-of-the-art facility in Manga Mandi, Lahore. It is set to roll out in December while a launch event is likely to be scheduled by the end of October.
Notably, in September, Changan also launched its two EVs, including the Deepal S07 and L07 in Pakistan. Meanwhile, BYD, the best in the electric vehicles business, also entered the Pakistani automobile market.
Seres 3 EV price in Pakistan
The 5-seater Seres 3 electric vehicle comes in two variants, including a 49 kWh battery variant and the other with a 54 kWh battery.
Initially, the 49 kWh variant of Seres 3 EV was priced at Rs9,100,000. However, the company later reduced the price and now, the locally assembled Seres 3 EV would be priced at Rs8,390,000 in Pakistan, making it an affordable option.
