The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has confirmed the return of its popular auction of premium licence plates, giving car lovers and collectors the opportunity to bid on some of the rarest number plates in the emirate.
This in-person auction will be conducted on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Grand Hyatt Dubai with 90 exclusive plates available across two-, three-, four- and five-digit combinations. Available categories include AA, BB, K, L, M, N, P, Q, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z.
Some of the most awaited plates in auction will likely be BB 88 and BB 777, which typically generate very competitive bidding.
