Samsung is reportedly preparing to unveil the Galaxy A06, which has been recently spotted in the Geekbench database. In the past year, the South Korean tech giant introduced its predecessor, the Galaxy A05. However, this time it is less likely to meet users' expectations, as it is tipped to feature a similar SoC to the A05.
Galaxy A06 features (expected)
Here are a few rumoured specifications of the prototype A06:
- The Galaxy A06 might support the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, similar to the A05, which had a single-core score of 1,644 and a multi-core score of 5,326. Thus, no significant upgrade is expected in the upcoming model.
- Additionally, it is likely to run on Android 14 and consist of 6GB of RAM, similar to its predecessor in terms of storage. The A06 is claimed to feature dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11a/b/g/n/ac). Other details are still under wraps, but they are expected to be revealed soon.
