In a significant development for the mid-range smartphone market, Samsung Galaxy A17 5G has had its full specifications leaked, which are hinted at improving the user experience.
With a robust display, upgraded performance, and long-term software support, the Galaxy A17 5G aims to be a serious contender in the 2025 affordable 5G segment.

The Galaxy A17 5G is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,100 nits, a waterdrop notch, and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
Samsung has opted for a glass fibre-reinforced polymer back panel, known for its enhanced strength without adding extra weight.
The phone measures 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.5 mm and weighs 192 grams, making it both sturdy and slim. It also boasts an IP54 rating, making it resistant to dust and light water splashes.
Contrary to earlier rumours suggesting a MediaTek chip, the A17 5G will reportedly be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1330 SoC, highlighting the company's dedication to producing high-performance gadgets.
The handset features a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera, offering users a wide range of creative options.
Additionally, it has a 13MP front-facing camera for taking excellent self-portraits.
The Galaxy A17 5G comes in a variety of configurations, such as a 256GB model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM.
Users can also recharge the battery up to 50% capacity in only 30 minutes with the device's 25-watt wired charging capability.
