If Samsung follows its usual release pattern, Pakistan may soon see the Galaxy A17 in a 4G variant. That version hasn’t been unveiled globally yet, but it might debut just before the local launch.
Here’s what to expect from Samsung’s upcoming midrange duo.
Samsung Galaxy A17
The chipset and performance information remain to be disclosed, as this is tied to the connectivity variant. All other specifications are still expected to be identical.
Galaxy A17 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus. It has a peak brightness of 800 nits.
Samsung is awarding this phone an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. It will come with Android 15 x One UI 7 and is guaranteed six years of OS updates. The base version may start with 4GB RAM.
This A17 has a 50MP OIS main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro camera, while there is a 13MP front camera for selfies. The device will be powered by a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy A07
This year, the Galaxy A07 saw the biggest jump in performance. Samsung has upgraded the phone to have a Helio G99 chipset, which is a massive upgrade over the outdated Helio G85 from last year.
The display is also upgraded to support a 90 Hz refresh rate on its 6.7-inch PLS LCD display to make animations smoother.
Notably, the resolution remains HD+, so visual quality remains the same overall. The A07 is rated IP54 for splash resistance and runs Android 15 x One UI 7 out of the box.
In a huge surprise for fans, Samsung is promising six years of OS updates, a huge upgrade from the two years of OS updates offered for the A06.
The rear cameras include a 50MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor and an 8MP selfie camera. The phone retains the microSD slot, has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, while packing a battery of 5000 mAh with support for 25W charge.
