Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A26, its latest budget-friendly smartphone for 2025. The new device comes with a larger screen, a powerful chip, and a durable build, making it a strong competitor in the affordable smartphone market.
The Galaxy A26 follows Samsung’s A-series design, featuring a flat frame and Key Island structure.

For the first time, the Samsung Galaxy A26 includes a Gorilla Glass Victus+ back panel and an IP67 water and dust resistance rating, making it more durable than its predecessor.
The phone comes in four colours including Black, White, Mint, and Peach Pink, and has a thinner body at 7.7mm compared to the previous model’s 8.3mm thickness.
Samsung Galaxy A26 performance and battery
Powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1380 chip, the Galaxy A26 ensures smooth performance. It offers 6GB or 8GB RAM options, with storage variants of 128GB and 256GB.
Additionally, it features a microSD card slot that supports up to 2TB of expandable storage. A 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging ensures long-lasting usage, making it ideal for everyday tasks.

The Galaxy A26 comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display featuring an Infinity-U camera design for an immersive viewing experience.
Samsung Galaxy A26 equips a triple-camera setup on the back, including a 50MP main sensor with OIS and autofocus, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, it features a 13MP selfie camera for high-quality photos and video calls.

The Galaxy A26 runs on Android 15 with One UI 7, featuring Circle to Search, Object Eraser, and camera filters. Samsung promises six years of OS updates, ensuring long-term software support.
