Samsung's Galaxy A series offers premium software features at a slightly higher price than the Galaxy M and Galaxy F series. Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35, priced below INR 40,000 and INR 30,000 respectively, come with Exynos chips and promise four years of OS updates. But how do they fare against similarly priced phones?

Both handsets have a premium look, similar to the Galaxy S24, with a glossy rear panel and a Super AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.

The Galaxy A55 is powered by a 4nm Exynos 1480 chip, while the Galaxy A35 runs on a 5nm Exynos 1380 processor. They can handle everyday tasks and casual games but struggle with heavy titles like Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.

Both phones have a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera and an ultra-wide-angle camera. They also have a Pro mode and support Samsung's Super Steady stabilization.

Samsung Galaxy A55 is priced at INR 39,999 for the 8GB+128GB RAM and storage model, while the Galaxy A35 starts at INR 30,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 are smartphones with good cameras and processors, but may not be the best midrange smartphones available. They promise four years of OS updates and have an IP67 rating, but charging is limited to 25W.
