Samsung Galaxy A55 is set to launch next month globally as a successor to the Galaxy A54, before which the detailed specifications of the upcoming device have surfaced online.

Samsung Galaxy A55 specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A55 will be equipped with an Exynos 1480 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It will feature a triple rear camera setup that comprises a 50MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation (OIS), according to Gadgets360.

According to the publication, Samsung Galaxy A55 will be powered by Exynos 1480 chipset and will operate on Android 14-based One UI 6.1 out of the box. The device will come in 6GB+ 128GB and 8GB+256GB RAM and configurations.

Connectivity-wise, the Samsung Galaxy A55 will include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and NFC. It will also feature a USB 2.0 Type-C port and a 5,000mAh battery. The device reportedly has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance and is equipped with stereo speakers. It measures 161.1 x 77.4 x 8.2mm and weighs 213g, as per the report.

Samsung Galaxy A55 camera

As per the publication, Samsung Galaxy will sport a 6.6-inch full HD AMOLED display. It will be equipped with a 50MP primary camera with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 5MP tertiary camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The front camera could be equipped with a 32MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture

Samsung Galaxy A55 price, colour

According to WinFuture, it is reported that the Samsung Galaxy A55 will be live for sale in Germany on March 11 for around EUR 449 (roughly INR 40300), along with the Samsung Galaxy A35. The device will be available in four colour options, Ice Blue, Navy, Purple and White. Samsung is yet to announce the launch plan for global markets, including India.
