While the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro has been renowned for its cutting-edge features and a sleek new design complemented by blade lights, several user complaints recently surfaced on the internet, compromising its reputation.

Bringing to light a disruption in the sound profile, many Samsung users reported issues with its fragile ear tips and high-pitched volume. However, the most concerning thing was the growing number of reports about charging malfunctions.

Charging issue in Galaxy Buds 3 Pro

Several Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro users have reportedly experienced issues with one of the earbuds not charging properly, characterised by an orange blinking light on the charging case as well as an indication on the phone that the earbuds are not charging.

A deep investigation into the problems disclosed that the issue had multiple root causes, suggesting significant quality control flaws.

It was also claimed that the magnetic sensor was a possible cause, as identified by a user, which detects whether the earbuds are in the case.

Moreover, another user discovered damaged or "melted" charging pins in their case, raising concerns about manufacturing defects.

Additionally, a software update released in October 2024 has also been linked to the charging issue, with some users reporting that the issue only started after installing the new update.

Meanwhile, Samsung service centres were said to be blaming water damage in many cases, charging users $180 for repairs, despite users insisting that they never exposed the earbuds to water.
